Selamat Datang! Indonesia and south-east Asia have an increasingly divsersified economy based on oil, gas, forest products, agriculture and textiles. Robert and Rhonda are coordinating a field team who are committed to learning the language, building relationships, and planting culturally relevant churches. This team is also currently setting up radio programs to reach various people groups with the gospel message in their own language and cultural setting. Whenever possible, they have been involved in mercy ministries going into areas of devastation and giving practical aid to the people. With more than 10 years of experience in reaching Muslim people, Robert and Rhonda bring a wealth of kowledge and expertise to their mission field.

Mercy International in Thailand

Every year, 40,000 children are orphaned as a result of the AIDS virus. They live in slums, often left to fend for themselves and sometimes being sold into slavery or prostitution. Thesechildren could easily think that nobodycares about them. Mercy International is reaching into those slums and giving these children more than just a place to live. They're providing these orphans with education, food, housing and, more importantly, love. Children in a Mercy home will be taught relationship and life skills. Mercy International is changing the future for many, many children. Mercy International gives them hope.
Thai-American Learning Centre - Thailand

The Thai American Learning Centre is a commercially based English Language School in Sisaket which was donated to Mercy International by an American couple who moved to different areas of ministry in the US. Students pay for tuition and are aged from 8 to Adult. Profits of the school are channelled to the House of Mercy Foundation.
This is not a secular teaching environment although students pay for tuition and are taught only recognised English courses. Any of us could earn more than triple what we get if a job was all we wanted. This is a calling to be involved in a ministry to the poor children of Thailand and each of us feels that calling from God. This is a necessary part of doing God's will and not just serving an organisation.
We would be interested to hear from you if, after considering the above, you feel God is leading you in our direction. We would like to hear of your background, Christian walk, any special abilities you may have, some personal details and anything that may affect any ministry here.
