The Palmers join PRAOG

The Palmer family, consisting of my wife Jeanette, our daughter Jessica and myself, joined PRAOG in February 2004. Since that time we have been amazed as we have witnessed how God has been renewing, restoring and preparing PRAOG for a new day. Love and life are two words that stand out for me the most about Pine Rivers AOG. The love of God expressed through the hearts of the members of our church is what seems to impress our visitors most. Life is what resonates in the buzz that we are increasingly hearing when we gather together to worship God.

What we are all about

As you read through our Values, Mission and Vision sections, you'll discover many grand statements and high ideals. Each word contained in those statements is meaningful and significant to us. However, if we are honest, the most precious words contained in those statements have to do with loving God and valuing people. If you get that, well, that's all that really matters. God is indeed doing a new thing, but at the end of the day it all revolves around Him and people. Anything else is secondary and merely a tool to aid the mission of the church. That mission is to win the lost and see them transformed in the image of Christ. That is the essence of our discipleship.

Pine Rivers AOG is just a small, but excited, part of what God is doing in the Church world-wide today. And it is all for His love of people. For God so loved the world that He gave His only son (John 3v16). That is why Jesus came and that is why we are here!
